We have an exciting opportunity working on a diverse, geographically-distributed team producing marketing literature for leading-edge high-performance spectrum analyzers and vector signal analyzers. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to gain worldwide experience working with other R&D and marketing sites in the U.K., Japan, and China.
The ideal candidate will be a proven team player with:
- Superb interpersonal, oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
- A high level of initiative and ability to work alone, in small groups, and on large teams.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to create written documentation that includes text, charts, graphs, illustrations, and screen dumps to educate users on how to measure signals with and without impairments.
- Demonstrated proficiency or ability to learn authoring tools such as MS Word, Madcap Flare (for online help deliverables), CorelDraw, and Corel PhotoPaint to create customer education and training material delivered as printed or electronic (embedded help, HTML Help, HTML-based help, PDF files, & Multimedia), .
- Demonstrated experience interviewing and gathering content from R&D, Product Marketing, Product Support, and Production Engineering and leveraging information from existing documentation such as journals, standards, and application notes.
- A good understanding or ability to quickly understand how customers use Agilent's products to measure simple and complex waveforms in the time, frequency, and modulation domains.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn new comms technology such OFDMA, TD-SCDMA, wireless-LAN technologies, and LTE.
- Ability to generate programming documentation for SCPI, COM, and .NET in print and context-sensitive online help.
- Ability to learn new methods and techniques to derive creative solutions to improve documentation, reduce Cost of Sales, enhance localization, and improve department productivity.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have completed their junior year, enrolled in an accredited four year University with an educational study of focus in Electrical Engineering discipline and excellent English oral and written communication skills. Candidate must also have:
- Good understanding of the frequency-domain and cellular communication formats such as W-CDMA, OFDM, WiMAX, and WLAN technologies.
- Ability to generate marketing literature, such as application notes, instructing users how to operate and program the world's premiere vector signal analyzer for cellular-communications applications, such as WiMAX.
