Announcement: INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE (ICEX)

INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE (ICEX)

Information Session:
Thursday, November 5th, from 11:10am-12:00pm, Room 14-250

Are you interested in applying your engineering skills to an international,

interdisciplinary project?

Come to this information session to learn about ICEX 2010! The ICEX Program

is a collaborative effort between California Polytechnic State University's

Computer Engineering Program and  various international partners. In 2010,

five students will travel with Dr. Chris Clark during Spring Break for an

underwater robotics education and research program in Norway. Students from

all disciplines of engineering are eligible, but must have some programming experience.

ICEX is an opportunity for students to apply their technical knowledge in

an international context and to increase global citizenship across campus.

To see details from last year's Malta Cistern Mapping program, visit our

blog at (http://icexmalta.blogspot.com/).

Travel Dates: March 20-28, 2010
Program Cost: $500 (includes airfare to/from Norway, accommodations, food)
