SCHOLARSHIPS
1. WARREN R. AND DANTZA ANDERSON ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ACADEMIC - 2 @ $1200
- Major: Electrical Engineering
- Highest GPA for current level junior
- Student must be making satisfactory academic progress
2. ANRITSU COMPANY ENGINEERING - 1 @ $4000
- EE major
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Financial need
- Junior or senior class level with the possibility of renewal for the junior level student
- Focus must be placed on the disadvantaged (see addendum) student to the extent possible
3. ISAAC R. BARPAL - 2 @ $5000
- 1st scholarship to a highly qualified first time freshman who has met the scholastic criteria for admission
- 2nd scholarship to the student with the best overall GPA at the end of his/her junior year; student must be senior level in the award year
4. ALONZO R. AND DONALD A. CARRANZA - 1 @ $2500
- EE major
- Maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA
- Financial need
- Undergraduate class level
- Preference to students from Humboldt (#12) or Del Norte (#8) counties (see county column), or Santa Maria Valley: Santa Maria, Righetti, or St. Joseph High Schools. - GPA: students must maintain a 3.0 Cal Poly cumulative GPA and complete a minimum of 36 degree applicable units per academic year
